It has been a fine day in Zagreb. After a nice autmn morning i visited our old friends with a new name TRIDE DVADE STUDIO- ex KENGES studio, or should i say one of two fractions of the old KENGES

here are the guys at TRIDE DVADE hard at work!:)

and her I am- proud owner of the first batch of the new studios t-shirts and logos

but, to get to the main attraction- VICTORY! Lemonade3d have won the GRAND PRIX at the ASIFA Croatia 2008 with our short movie SHE WHO MEASURES- This is a fine end to the Croatian festival circuit of our movie, which started with the best upcomers award at Croatian Days of FIlm, followed by the SPECIAL MENTION at ANIMAFEST (bets darn festival in the world if you ask me:) ) and with the  BEST FILM IN NATIONAL COMPETITION at TABOR film festival- Now, it all comes to a conclusion at the ASIFA croatia…Dont need to say that we are proud and happy!:)

The second place went to Darko Bakliza for his movie HOMO VOLANS and SIMON BOGOJEVIC NARATH got the award for his contribution to the Croatian animation in the field of 3d animation! CONGRATULATIONS to simon and Darko!

I have a video of that evening, i will edit it and post it when i return home- The video contains also the trailer for the croatian-bosnian cooperation animated feature film  SALVATORE, based on the book “I am a dog….and my name is SALVATORE” by Veslin Gatalo, who is also the script writer for the movie.- So stay tuned for that one!

well, Milivoj is in Leipzig, Marin is going to Cordoba, and i am reporting from Zagreb- the ASIFA croatia festival showcasing this years croatian animation. I just arrived this morning

and em writing this post freeloading on a unsecure public wireless network:) what can i say…i have to report!:)

ASIFA croatia is a part of the Association International du Film d’Animation
(International Animated Film Association)

and annualy it holds a festival of the current Croatian animation-

the show starts in the afternoon, so untill then im just enjojing autmn in Zagreb…
