This is the last day of my visit to Slovenia, and the Animateka festival- The days started of with a working breakfast where the positive and the negative sides of the internet as a tool for animated short movie screening and presentation were disscused. The working breakfast was held in the nice atmosphere of the Kinodvor lobby, and some yogurt drinks and bagels were available to the early birds who participated. Amongs other things during the disscution Igor from Animateka presented thier AnimaWeb internet contest, you can drop in and watch the movies, aswell as vote for you favourite films. The panel agreed that internet was a powerfull medium but the festival and teater projections still hold thier value and will do so in the future, representing in many ways the ideal venu for short animation presentation.
The evening started with the second competition screening which in my oppinion was better then the first day and featured movies such as

the guys were excellent and i recommend you check them out if you get the chance! But even better was the company, specially Ivan Ramadan, one man band powerhouse director/animator/modeler/designer/sound designer of the award winning short from Sarajevo tolerantia. Watch out for his upcoming short. I had the opportunity to watch the trailer and was impressed- though it was a really short trailer:) – A big shout out goes to Ela and Andrea! we had fun roadpickers! Sorry to hear about your bag stolen Ela….
